Pastoral Plan Prayer
Diocese of San Angelo
Lord Jesus Christ, in your holy name,
we dedicate ourselves to the preparation of a new pastoral plan
for the Diocese of San Angelo.
As you guided the holy men and women who have gone before us,
help us to build upon this foundation of faith.
We ask you to pour out the gifts of your Holy Spirit upon us,
and so enable us
to listen to each other attentively,
to express ourselves clearly,
to work together joyfully,
and to imagine our future boldly.
Through this prayerful process,
show us the way to live out your mission for us,
and help us to hand on your gifts to future generations.
Through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, our Mother,
and under the protection of St. Michael the Archangel, our patron,
help us to discern your holy will
for the Catholic Church in West Texas.
We ask this of you,
who live and reign with the Father,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, forever and ever.

Señor Jesucristo, en tu santo nombre,
nos dedicamos a la preparación de un nuevo plan pastoral
para la Diócesis de San Angelo.
Así como guiaste a los hombres y mujeres santos que nos han precedido,
ayúdanos a construir sobre este fundamento de fe.
Te pedimos que derrames los dones de tu Espíritu Santo sobre nosotros,
para permitirnos
a escuchar el uno al otro atentamente,
a expresarnos claramente,
a trabajar juntos con alegría,
y a imaginar nuestro futuro con valentía.
A través de este proceso espiritual,
muéstranos la manera de vivir tu misión para nosotros,
y ayúdanos a entregar tus dones a las generaciones futuras.
Por la intercesión de la Santísima Virgen María, nuestra Madre,
y bajo la protección de San Miguel Arcángel, nuestro patrón,
ayúdanos a discernir tu santa voluntad
para la Iglesia Católica en el Oeste de Texas.
Te lo pedimos,
tu que vives y reinas con el Padre,
en la unidad del Espíritu Santo,
un solo Dios, por los siglos de los siglos.
