THE CATHOLIC CHARITABLE FOUNDATION OF SAN ANGELO

A word from Most Rev. Michael D. Pfeifer, OMI, Bishop of San Angelo:

The Catholic Charitable Foundation of San Angelo  has permanent endowments of almost $700,000 and is managing approximately $2,000,000 of non-endowed funds. As Bishop, I am very grateful to the generous benefactors who contributed to establish this Foundation, providing valuable support for our ministries and I
encourage people to generously give to it as we are investing into the future of helping to ensure our on-going efforts to build up the Kingdom of God through programs of ministry and service for God's people.

About the Foundation
The Catholic Charitable Foundation for the Roman Catholic Diocese of San Angelo was established in 2010 under the guidance of the Most Reverend Bishop Michael D. Pfeifer, OMI. The Foundation is a Texas nonprofit corporation organized and operated exclusively for charitable, religious and educational purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. It is also subject to the Code of Canon Law and the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. The Foundation is governed by an independent Board of Trustees that manages the assets and approves all grants and gifts.

Purpose
The Catholic Charitable Foundation for the Roman Catholic Diocese of San Angelo is an independent, non-profit organization established to manage endowment and other funds for the future benefit of the Diocese, Catholic
parishes, schools, agencies and organizations within the Diocese of San Angelo.

THE DIOCESAN CATHOLIC FOUNDATION STRENGTHENS OUR MINISTRIES
By Bishop Michael D. Pfeifer, OMI

The Foundation also assists the faithful by establishing a way for them to exercise their philanthropy by giving a gift that will last in perpetuity. All gifts and monies received will be invested and managed for the benefit of
the Diocese, the Parishes, the Catholic Schools or other Catholic Institutions and ministries I am happy to announce that I have approved the new Catholic Charitable within the Diocese.

The main purpose of this Catholic Foundation is to assure funding in the future for our programs of ministry and the people of the Diocese of San Angelo. Already, this new Foundation has attracted the attention of people within and without the Diocese of San Angelo, who want to assist in this effort, as a way of helping to promote the building up of God's kingdom here in West Texas.

Gifts can be made to the Foundation at any time in any amount. Types of gifts may include cash, securities, life insurance policies and Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA's) that name the Foundation as a beneficiary, as
